By using kin, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it updated.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
  • You may not share access to your account with anyone else.

3. Acceptable use

  • Be respectful to the people in your circle.
  • Don’t upload anything illegal, harassing, or harmful.
  • Don’t attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service.

4. Content you share

  • You retain ownership of the content you share.
  • By sharing content in kin, you grant us a limited license to display it to the circle members you choose to share with.
  • kin lets you share moments and activity with people you trust, and view what’s happening in your circle.

5. Third-party services

  • If you connect Apple HealthKit or Terra, you allow kin to import the activity data you choose to share. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Subscription and payments

  • kin offers subscription options. Prices and terms are shown in-app before purchase.
  • All payments are processed through the App Store.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID / App Store settings.
  • Prices may vary by region and are shown before purchase.

7. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

  • kin is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not medical professionals. kin is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Your use of kin is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of New York.
